AnyFileBackup version 5.1 went public. Version 5.1 is the first stable release of the 5th generation of AnyFileBackup.

NEW FEATURES

Version 5 brings a set of new features and upgrades:

(1) Completely re-designed operational core and user interface

(2) Substantial improvements to stability and performance speed

(3) Support for WebDav and OAUTH authentication

(4) Extensions are now a part of the core product and do not require a separate download and installation (some may require a paid licence)

LICENSING

AnyFileBackup is a commercial product which requires a paid licence to use all of its functions.

Each paid licence is strictly time-limited which means that, upon its expiration, AnyFileBackup will switch back into a trial mode.

The AnyFileBackup version 4 users with the active subscription to updates licence are eligible to receive a licence for AnyFileBackup version 5 for. See details at Upgrading to Version 5.

LIMITATIONS

Compatibility with version 4 is limited — please read carefully below:

(1) Some outdated or less used features were removed (like Windows network messages)

(2) The settings file format of version 4 is incompatible with version 5, which means that automatic transition from version 4 to version 5 is not yet supported
