Extension allows to manage the AnyFileBackup remotely via a Web browser from any computer connected to Internet or LAN.
In order to install the Remote console extension you need to extract downloaded ZIP file to the AnyFileBackup's home folder. In the "%Home_folder%\Extensions" folder the "Remote console" folder should appear. Then restart both the AnyFileBackup Control center and server. Type File->Settings menu item and find the "Remote console" branch in the settings tree.
Remote Console Extension has the following parameters you can change:
Access - enable or disable access to remote console.
Http port - the port number through which the remote console can be accessed from a Web browser. It can be any port isn't in use on computer where the AnyFileBackup is installed. By default the port number is 18440.
Allowed connections - a number of users can work with the AnyFileBackup remotely simultaneously.
To be able to connect to the Remote Console a user must have an account and permissions specified in the Account Manager.
After that you can access the Remote Console Extension from any browser inside your LAN. Simply type "http://your_computer_name:RCE_port" in the browser address bar. For example, http://my_server:18440.
To access the Remote Console Extension from Internet you may need to map your corporate firewall external port to the Remote Console Extension port/address.
