Folder Replication: Content Aajustment
If you synchronize files in two folders (in other words when files are permanently being copied from one folder known as 'SOURCE' to another folder usually called 'TARGET') you may face 'unnecesary files problem'. This means that TARGET folder contains files which do not exist in SOURCE folder. Sooner or later the volume of these unnecessary files will increase and you will delete them manually. However, deletion of unnecesary files in TARGET may become a time consuming operation and incereases a riks of accidental deletion of important files.
If you want to avoid these annoying problems enable 'Conent adjustment' property of file replication task in AnyFileBackup. This option is available both for replication between LAN folders and for replication between FTP servers.

When 'Conent adjustment' is enabled AnyFileBackup (1) compares content of SOURCE and TARGET (which may be either LAN folders or FTP directories) and (2) removes from TARGET all files which do not exist in SOURCE. Moreover, files which exist in SOURCE but are absent in TARGET will be copied from SOURCE to TARGET.
Conent adjustment is performed after every file replication round. That’s why SOURCE and TARGET always remain synchronized i.e. absolutely identical. And you do not need to clean up TARGET manually anymore!
